Golegã
To most of you my dear readers (the three), the name mught sound unspellable, and indeed it is portuguese hence why.
It is a village in the middle of Portugal, considered t be the capital of th Horse.
very year they have a Horse fair, and this year I decided to visit it.
I am not much of a orse fan, nevertheless, I was curious.
Let me say I came back delighted and one of my goals in a medium term future is to have a horse "farm".
Fantastic atmosphere, you cannt imagine the amount of horses there were in the village. Tey close the streets and everybody that owns a horse is invited to bring it on, and ride in the streets, go into the bars, etc all sitting in the horse.
The food as always in Portugal was also great.
I will post a photo here and very soon will be back with the link to my flicker account.
Take care y'all

Concerning the great food there: is this horse meat on the picture???
It could well be, but concerning the atmosphere it would be anoprpriate, so what u see is a pig being "rolled" on the grill.
Take care
